Renovate to Improve the View

Renovate to Improve the View

What do you do when your new home is everything you ever wanted.....except for one small detail. That is what the owners of the home featured below thought of their new house. Amazing modern design, gorgeous tiles, spacious living but there was one feature which just didn't fit.

As you walked into the home through the front door the view was of the toilet on the opposite side of the house. The first thought is to just keep the door shut, but everyone knows that does not always happen.

Our design team came up with a solution to this throne vista issue by incorporating a tower display shelving unit into the kitchen and wall unit renovation. The silver swirl tiles and glass shelves provided a unique space to display photos and ornaments. More importantly the unit created a 'block-out' wall between the front door and the toilet.

Visitors are now met with an attractive display feature rather than a view of the loo.

The full renovation brief was to tie the kitchen and dining room together. Our team did this by designing a custom made wall unit and shelving to match the kitchen, combining cooking, dining, entertaining, display and storage into one very functional room.
