Our clients from Morayfield wanted their kitchen renovation to feel bright, welcoming, and effortlessly timeless. This kitchen renovation pairs classic shaker styling with clean modern detailing to create a space made for everyday family life and easy entertaining.
The showstopper of the room is the central island bench with a 40mm YDL 'Giusto' stone with waterfall edges cascading to the timber floors. We integrated subtle, warm LED strip lighting beneath the breakfast bar overhang, which gives a soft ambient glow over the seating area and makes it a natural gathering spot from morning coffee through to evening dinners.
For the cabinetry, our clients chose a classic shaker door profile finished in Dulux 'Natural White' with a smooth 30% satin sheen. The cabinetry extends seamlessly to the ceiling, maximising storage. Along the perimeter, 20mm YDL 'Giusto' stone provides sleek, durable prep surfaces tying together the cooktop and framing a classic undermount butler sink.
Texture brings the neutral palette to life. A glossy white subway tile splashback laid in an herringbone pattern catches the light beneath the overhead cupboards, while Handle House 'Trevallyn' pull handles and 'Kensington' round knobs in an Antique Bronze finish add just the right amount of warm, vintage-inspired contrast.
The kitchen is built for effortless everyday function with Blum Merivobox soft-close drawers and Blum soft-close hinges throughout.
Appliances, sink, tap and tiles supplied by owner.
