The kitchen design process

How to get started with a kitchen renovation?

Step
1
 Information and meeting

Our first point of contact is to arrange an appointment with you. This is usually done onsite where we can see the space, take measurements and discuss your requirements. If your project is a new build or extension this meeting usually takes place in our showroom. The purpose of this meeting is to collect your thoughts and ideas as well as your preferences. These preferences can include design concepts, preferred materials, colour schemes and appliance details. We also encourage customers to visit our showroom so that you can meet our team, see where everything is manufactured, view the quality of our work and take some samples and information home. Our showroom is open by appointment only. Please contact us on 3204 0399 to arrange a time to meet with one of our team.

 The designing process

All of your kitchens measurements are transferred into our design program where our designers can then begin to digitally create your new kitchen. We take into account storage areas, ease of access and generous preparation areas whilst designing. Once completed it is then shown to you as a digital representation of what the finished kitchen will look like within your space including multiple 3D views as well as a detailed floor plan.

  Multiple Contract Options
Our contract can be for the supply and installation of your new kitchen only, or we can include the supply and installation of your new kitchen as well as the coordination of our reliable longstanding team of subcontractors (plumber, electrician, plasterer etc). For your peace of mind we offer a fixed price contract, this includes the coordination of all of our subcontractors. Most of our customers choose to include the subcontractors as part of their kitchen contract. We then project manager the entire job from start to finish making the process of installing your new kitchen smooth and stress free. Haddon Kitchens and Cabinets is fully licensed with the Queensland Building & Construction Commission to engage and supervise all other tradespeople (plumber, electrician, plasterer etc) required to complete your kitchen installation. We always include the Compulsory QBCC Home Warranty Insurance when required. We encourage you to view our full licence history on the QBCC website. Our aim is for the completed project to have been an enjoyable and stress free experience for all concerned and for our customers to be incredibly happy and proud of their new kitchen!

We combine modern technology with quality craftsmanship to build your custom kitchens in our modern workshop. We take enormous care at the kitchen manufacture stage to make sure that all kitchen cabinetry we produce is something that we can all be proud of. We put our name to every kitchen we create so we strive to maintain the high standard our customers have come to expect over the last 30+ years!
